 Hello, and welcome to BMUN 70!  My name is Nishitha Shetty, and I’ll be one of your vice chairs this year. I am a senior studying history, with a concentration in South Asia. With that being said, the topic and agenda of this committee are very near and dear to my heart! I was born in India, and immigrated to the US when I was 6 years old. Since then I have lived in both Seattle and the Bay Area, finally ending up at Cal. Last semester I studied abroad in Paris, and absolutely loved it! Aside from BMUN, on campus I am also a member of a pre-law fraternity. In my free time, I like to go on hikes with friends, listen to hyper pop, and read fantasy novels.  This is my final year with Berkeley Model UN, a conference that has been a part of my life for nearly seven years now. Hello Delegates, My name is Vaishik Kota and I have the pleasure of being your head chair for the Agra Summit Committee during BMUN LV! Currently, I am a sophomore majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with an interest in pursuing medical school. I am originally from Pleasanton, California where I spent 3 years competing, chairing, and running Model UN conferences. Outside of Model UN, I enjoy playing volleyball & basketball, running 2k with my friends, and binging TV. I especially enjoy watching sports (I'm a huge Miami Heat and LV Raiders fan) and Grey's Anatomy, but lately, I've been watching a lot of anime. My favorite artist is J. Cole.      Hi delegates! I'm Jinwei and I am senior studying Computer Science and Economics with a minor in Data Science. This is my fourth year in BMUN and sixth year overall in the Model UN circuit. I love the research aspect of MUN, especially learning more about IR issues. I joined the Agra Summit committee this year because the topic is rarely discussed in terms of global conflict resolutions and because I loves how fast-paced crisis procedure is. Outside of MUN, I love going to the gym, cooking up new recipes, and snowboarding in the winter!  I can't wait to hear all of your wonderful though-provoking speeches at conference this year!

 Hello everyone! My name is Robert and I'm one of your vice chairs! I'm a freshman majoring in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy, and I hope to build a career in public affairs or law in some capacity - where that takes me after undergrad, I look forward to finding out! In the meantime, I'm currently a legislative associate for Berkeley's own student union, and my hobbies include ukulele, drawing, and watching the Warriors win the upcoming NBA Finals (hopefully). I've been doing Model UN since I was a high school freshman in Pleasanton, CA, and I've loved it ever since. I'm certain that this committee will fully demonstrate MUN's ability to engage students with important political issues, especially ones that present new perspectives and promote a better understanding of the diverse, complex world that lies outside our comfort zones. I'm excited to see how committee goes!

 Hellooooo!  I'm Sanaa Sodhi and I'll be one of your vice chairs for Agra this year! I'm SO excited to meet you all in-person and not just through a Zoom screen haha. I'm originally from Denver, CO but am so happy to be able to be in the Bay and a part of this amazing event! I don't have any prior MUN experience, so I'm in the same boat as all of you novices! I was, however, involved in Speech and Debate all four years of high school so I can still relate to the stress and adrenaline of public speaking and debate!  I'm currently a first-year studying Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and hoping to pursue a certificate in Design. I hope to someday practice immigration law or potentially work for the 'real deal' UN.
